Thieme-Becker), depicting: Duke Johann Wilhelm's and his court's arrival in Düsseldorf (no.1-2), the wedding ceremony in church (no. 3-4), the banguet (no. 5-7), including a depiction of a table decorated with animals and plants made of sugar paste (no. 7), a scene of firing a salute from a schiff on the Rhine River (no. 8), the tournament (no. 9, 26-29, 31, 43, 36), a movable mountain decorated with animals and mythological figures (no. 10), emblems (no. 11), scene depicting the arrival in Düsseldorf of nine knights on horses (no. 12), emblems (no. 13), coats of arms (no. 14-24, 32-33), Hercules fighting the Hydra, a scene staged on a float on the Rhine River (no. 25); a staged battle on the Rhine River between a dragon and a whale, with fireworks (no. 30), a group dressed in costume, some playing music and some dancing (no. 35), and a hierarchical vision of the world enclosed within an oval frame, with the Holy Trinity at the top and the Hell at the bottom (no. 37)
